Have you made plans for the longest night of the year?
If you've been scouring the community for a Winter Solstice activity, look no further! Natural Bridges National Monument will be hosting our final dark sky event of the year on Saturday, December 21st. Activities will begin at 5:30 pm and run until 7:30 pm MST. The event will include a constellation tour and telescope viewing.
Temperatures will likely drop below freezing, so please come dressed in the appropriate layers. Parking for this event will be limited. As the event will be held on asphalt, please bring a camp chair or other comfy seating solution. A flashlight with a red-light option is also recommended. Weather may impact this event as well. Rain or snow will be cause for cancellation.
We hope to see you there!
