Peavine Canyon Trail

The Peavine Canyon Trail runs between Dry Mesa Road (108) and Peavine Corridor Road, and can be traveled in either direction. At the south end, you can find a parking lot near the trailhead, close to a corral. As you go along the trail, which is a logging trace, you will come across a grove of aspen trees. The trail then descends sharply into the bottom of Peavine Canyon.

From there, it continues at a gentle incline along and across a creek, before ending at the road near another corral. While the trail does not begin in a wilderness area, much of it passes through the Dark Canyon Wilderness.
