Celebrate Cedar Mesa is the annual gathering for people who care about the greater Cedar Mesa area, Bears Ears, and all of the fantastic public lands in San Juan County. Join in for a three-day weekend of fun, including Friday service projects, Saturday presentations, live music, and Sunday morning hikes.
Friday, March 1, 2019- 10:00am-4:00pm: Service Projects
7:00pm-9:00pm: Award Ceremony and Evening at the Bears Ears Education Center which is free and open to the public. Location: 587 West Main Street Bluff, Utah.
Satuday, March 2, 2019- 8:30am-5:00pm: Main Friends Gathering. The Saturday program is the “main event” of the Celebrate Cedar Mesa weekend. You’ll hear a keynote presentation, updates on policy and research, see slideshows, and join in engaging conversation about key issues facing the area. Registration includes: A scrumptious lunch by Twin Rocks Cafe, snacks and warm beverages throughout the day, admittance to “After Party,” with live music and access to the Silent Auction. All registrants will be entered to win some fabulous door prizes.
6:00pm-7:30pm: Dinner at the Bluff Community Center which includes a delicious gourmet dinner catered by Twin Rocks Cafe that will include vegetarian and gluten-free options. Location TBD.
8:00pm-10:00pm: After Party with live music at the Bears Ears Education Center. For Registrants only. Location: 587 West Main Street Bluff, Utah.
Sunday, March 3, 2019- 9:00am Free Organized/Guided Hikes: Meet at Bluff Community Center to carpool.
